ATOL and ABTOT protected ✓
What is ATOL?
The ATOL scheme (which stands for Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing) is financial protection that protects you when you book a package trip that includes a flight, specifically to cover holiday-makers if their travel company stops trading while they’re abroad. This protection includes assisting you to stay in your holiday accommodation (if possible), reimbursing you for any money spent to replace ATOL-protected parts of your trip (such as car hire and transfers), and arranging flights home – depending on the circumstances.
What is ABTOT?
When you book with an ABTOT Member, you are booking with a specialist holiday provider, approved for Membership by a government-approved Association. You can book in confidence and with peace of mind that your pre-payments are protected in the event of the travel providers insolvency and that repatriation costs are covered.
Does utc.travel offer ATOL or ABTOT protection?
Yes! We know it’s never been more important to have protection, security and flexibility when booking travel abroad, and we’re proud to say we provide both ATOL and ABTOT protection.
